Mogadishu runs on mobile phones. We use them to send money with EVC Plus, to run our businesses, to call family and to find our way around the city. But a phone with an empty battery can stop all of that in a moment.
CAASIMADA POWER was started to solve that problem. We are placing smart power bank stations in busy places across Mogadishu — hotels, cafés, shopping centres, universities and hospitals — so a charged battery is always close by.
How it works
Scan the QR code on any station with your phone camera. Pay with EVC Plus. A slot opens and you take a fully charged power bank with built-in iPhone, Type-C and Micro-USB cables. When you are done, return it to any CAASIMADA POWER station — not only the one you took it from.
Fair and simple pricing
You pay only for the time you use, with a low daily maximum, and there is no app to install and no account to create. If a station ever fails to open, your payment is refunded automatically.
